!!!!! MISSING DOG !!!!!! This is Lucy, a senior maltese with medical concerns who escaped from her home on 7/3. She was last seen on W. Santa Barbara St. in Santa Paula on 7/4. Lucy is skittish around people so please be aware and contact SPARC immediately at 805-525-8609 or bring her to our facility. She was picked up from some teenagers that were able to catch her, but she was NOT brought to SPARC as we hoped. BLIND "BLUE" IS TOP DOG! Blue & Obie are best buddies. They were surrendered to SPARC together and are very bonded, so would like to be adopted together. Blue has had to have both his eyes removed while at SPARC, due to glaucoma, but he's such a confident and positive guy, one would hardly notice he'd been through such a challenging surgery! Obie, on the other hand, feels insecure without Blue and is much more comfortable when he's next to HIM. When Blue was in medical for ...a week after surgery, Obie cried out to him several times a day, so we allowed him hospital visits to his best bud! It's now time that these two gorgeous guys find a foster or a permanent home. They're gentle, easy to care for, easy to fall in love with and amazingly low energy guys.
