The Community 1000 Cranes has been completed and is now on display at the Inamori Pavilion! In an effort to support the recovery of our community, we invited everyone to participate in this activity during the stay at home restrictions. We saw this opportuniuty of creating paper cranes together as a way to promote a sense of solidarity and resilience during these times. Because of you, we collected well over 1000 paper cranes! In this online Breath Fitness class, we will go over the science of how breathwork can make immediate changes in your physiology. You will be guided with music and sounds of nature through the latest techniques. You will be able to participate, ask questions, and engage. We will touch on ancient Japanese breathwork practices. You will learn to control and enhance your stress level, mood, athletic performance, and immune system.... We will do this by gaining access to: Brain Wave Shifts, Endorphins Adrenaline, Melatonin Release Your Body’s PH (You Will Become More Alkaline) You will leave class feeling energized and perhaps inspired by how simple natural means can have such a profound impact. The class will be three parts: Discuss and Science Breathing Mechanics Guided Breathwork Plus Q & A opportunities afterwards. Participants need enough space to sit and lay down approximately the size of a yoga mat and should be on camera for the majority of the workshop. Saida Taka is our guest for part 5 of the JFG Master Series Virtual Program! Initially being accessible by the wealthy, stone lanterns were eventually adopted not just as votive lights, but also as more practical lanterns to light the precincts of shrines and temples. Yasukochi’s CSA boxes include seasonal fresh picked fruits and vegetables that are locally sourced from their farms in Oceanside and other local partners all packaged into one convenient box! Each purchase can also be paired with discounted admission tickets to JFG! CSA boxes last a week with a Regular box being recommended for 1-3 people and a Jumbo box being recommended for 4-6 people.
