Very excited to announce our incoming group of Tritons!!! Stay tuned, we'll have more info on each over the next few days! #UCSanDiego #GoTritons #WeAreTritons #Fencing
David Willey is a very good friend of the San Diego Fencing Center and so many of us in the fencing community. He needs our help now in a very difficult bout to beat a cancer that was just discovered a few weeks ago. Let's all be on his side of the strip with a contribution.
A couple of our foilist decided to earn a couple of medals today for their fathers at the Lionheart mixed foil event today. Lily Guo took bronze in Y12 Rayirth Kaushish took silver in Y10 and 6th in Y12.

We have been quiet for a very long time as everyone was going through difficult times. But this weekend started to feel closer to normal and it felt important to share the hard work of our fencers and their families. We had fencers all over California doing what they love. Emma Bush won The Fencing Center RYC in San Jose for both Y12 and Y14 Epee. Allison Lee placed 18 and Paulina Morales 26 in a Y14 mixed gender Foil event in Santa Ana. 4th and 10th if you count only women.... Satchel Breier won the Div2/3 Nationals Qualifier in San Diego. Daniel Wong won the Junior Olympics Qualifiers in San Diego. Branford Higgins took 3rd in Div2/3 Nationals and in Junior Olympics Qualifiers in San Diego Alexander Usher took second in Div2/3 Nationals and 4th in Junior Olympics Qualifiers in San Diego. Ethan MacDonald took 5th in Junior Olympics Qualifiers in San Diego.
The UC San Diego Fencing program is one of the best ones in the country and super important for fencing in the West Coast. Let's show them some appreciation by participating in their annual fundraising campaign!

We love our sport. We love the physical and mental challenge, the competition. But most importantly, at SDFC we believe that fencing helps our athletes build strength in all of these valuable skills. #fencingforlife
Very Important initiative for the future of our sport
Take a funny bone break: Enjoy Shaun the Sheep and friends at their fencing Championsheeps! Shoutout to USFA Women's Veterans Fencing group for sharing.
Diversity in Fencing is vital and the Diversity that Fencing brings to Athletic Programs is to be valued, promoted, and protected. This article is so well written and reasoned that we would like to share it to express our support to the Stanford Fencing Team.
Great music AND a great cause? Yes! Enjoy the beautiful sounds of the very talented UCSD alum Em Beihold in this special Zoom concert to benefit UC San Diego Fencing Team.
Check out these beautiful fencing photos from 1935 of Olivia de Havilland and Errol Flynn, two of the biggest stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age. It’s always exciting to see fencing featured in films or TV shows. What’s your favorite fencing moment from the big or small screen? #fencing #fencingonfilm #fencinginthemovies
In order to defend the role of Fencing in Collegiate Athletics, we have to get involved in the fight to Save Stanford Fencing. It won't be only a battle of days or weeks and we are ready to support the campaign all the way through. We should also take this opportunity to trigger a movement to not just defend but to grow College Fencing inline with the growth fencing overall has to experience in the last decade. You can start by signing this petition led by CyrusofChaos and by being ready for support also any of the multiple actions that will follow.
We would like to invite everybody that follows us to join the Save Stanford Fencing Campaign. It is going to be a long journey over the next few months to make it happen. Be ready to support a long list of actions that respectfully show Stanford what the Fencing community is all about. https://www.facebook.com/groups/724268938419200/about

Cyrus of Chaos is clearly the best Fencing channel out there. So to have our own Diego Calderon invited for a high-level Epee video analysis is quite special. And he nails it!
Congratulations to these UC San Diego Scholar-Athletes and the rest of the Team. All-American is a huge honor!
What Lee and Gerek are asking here is what our members did the week after we shut down. We implemented a voluntary sustaining membership and those that could did sign up. We knew we are a family and they proved it to us in these difficult times. With their support, we are confident we will be back soon. We love you!
