https://www.newsbreakapp.com/n/0Papa8oM?pd=04EyezDf&s=i0 Omg! Are you freakin serious! Not again! Enough is enough people. When are we finally going to accept that this approach that we have been using to combat CoVid 19 is not working. We need another approach to fight this disease. All this shutting down of the economy really does is makes things worse. The virus will be here months from now. But the only difference is that we will have more businesses gone and more families in financial ruins. Everyone please wear your face mask even if you don’t believe in it. Do it for your parents, grandparents aunts and uncles!

WE WILL BE CLOSED THIS SATURDAY JULY 4TH. It’s been a crazy couple days. I’m sure all of you have heard about the states mandate to close dine in service at restaurants. The feelings of hope and confidence when they finally allowed us to reopen last month is gone. Now it’s been replaced by disillusionment and a sense of betrayal. They make us jump through all these hoops and loops like a performing carnival animal. They give us the guidelines we diligently met. We invested ov...er $3000 in upgrades to the ventilation system with things like UVC lighting, sanitizer stations, limit seating capacity and the list goes on and on. Yet we’re still being punished for being compliant. What kind of example to you set when you punish those following your rules that you set up? What’s the point of even being compliant if it’s for nothing. I’m so stressed out and disillusioned by our state government in Sacramento right now. I’ve lost all confidence in our state government. It’s sad because I had high hopes for Newsom and Garcetti when I voted for them. Anyways I’m going to take the next couple days and spend time with my family. I’m going to clear my head and try to figure out what’s the next step. I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July. See more

Good morning everybody I hope everybody is safe out there. Due to the civil unrest in the rioting and looting that is occurring nightly the city of Torrance and LA County have extended the curfew tonight from 6 PM until 6 Am. For the safety of our employees and our customers, we will be closing at 6 PM today. Sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused you and hopefully this will all pass soon and we look forward to seeing you guys again at the reopening of the dining area on Monday, June 8. Once again please be safe and healthy not just from COVID-19 but now from the civil unrest.

Good morning all. What was once a peaceful protest against police brutality has been taken over by thugs, anarchists and opportunists who use this as an excuse to destroy people’s livelihood. Well that chaos that was located near downtown has finally hit home. A local business down the street from us was looted by these idiots yesterday. So after talking with my staff and family we have decided to push back the reopening of dining area to Monday June 9th. We will take this week to finish the guidelines set forth by the state, LA county and Health dept. in order to reopen. But we will also be implementing new security measures to protect Saigon Dish as well. We will be CLOSING at 5:00 pm TODAY Sunday may 31. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please be safe everyone!

Hello everyone, I hope all of you are safe and healthy. We just got the news that LA county will allow dine in restaurants to reopen once they meet LA county guidelines. Yay and hooray I say. But there’s just a small problem. They haven’t released the guidelines. So I guess stay tuned. But at least we’re slowing getting there. I’ll post more updates as soon as I get them. If I had to guess I would say I m shooting for a reopening of the dining area at saigon dish sometime next week. Everything just depends on what those guidelines are.

Good morning everyone. I hope everybody had a safe weekend. Just wanted to keep in touch and give you updates about the progress being done at Saigon Dish in preparation for the eventual reopening of the dining area. CDC and OSHA recommends that we install partitions where 6ft social distancing cannot be achieved. It is going to be difficult for a paying customer to hand their credit card or cash to the cashier from 6ft away. So in compliance with the authorities, we’ve installed a sneeze guard last week. We can now cross off 1 more item on the to do list. But still many more things to cross off before we’re anywhere near ready for you guys to feel confident enough to dine in here again.

Happy Wednesday everyone, by now I’m sure everyone has heard that the stay at home mandate has been extended until August. Now the news is that restaurants in LA county will not be allowed to have dine in service until July. Normally I would be upset but state officials have done this to us time and time again. They told us we would be allowed to reopen in 2 weeks That’s was on March 16 and now 2 months later more of the same BS. But that’s another rant, for another day,... in another post. Let’s stick to the topic at hand, which is What is Saigon Dish doing to make it safe for customers to dine in again? And how do we make customers feel confident they won’t get sick eating here? Taking suggestions from the cdc and health dept, these are the things that we’re implementing to ensure the safety of our customers and employees: 1) seating capacity will be decreased to 50% ( including employees) 2) all employees will be required to wear face mask or face shield 3) a sneeze guard will be installed near the cashier where the 6ft social distancing is not viable 4) all employees will have their temperature checked via temp. Gun before work. 5) hand sanitizers will be available throughout the dining area 6) all menus and tables will be sanitized thoroughly after customers are done eating and prior to new customers being seated. This list is still developing as we learn more from the cdc and health dept. See more

Good morning all, I hope everyone had a nice Mother’s Day yesterday. Many of you have been asking when we will reopen. And honestly I have no idea. I thought I did but the state officials keep pushing back the date time and time again. There’s so much misinformation, ambiguity and lack of communication from the higher ups. There’s talk of restaurants being in phase 2 or quarter 2 or intermission or whatever they want to call it. Now there’s talk that LA county restaurants ...are not part of that Episode 2. Very confusing to say the least. So all we at Saigon Dish can do is prepare for the eventual reopening of the dining area. The most important thing is to give the diners and customers the confidence to come back. Our customers’ safety and well being is our top priority. I have a family of my own. The last thing I want do is bring Covid19 back home with me. Our customers especially the regulars have kept us afloat during these difficult times. And the best way we can say thank you is to do everything in our powers to keep them safe when they come back. So in preparation of reopening whenever it will be). Throughout this week we will keep posting the changes that we’re implementing to keep you guys safe from good Ol’ Rona ( corona) First we’ve installed high end filtration units throughout the restaurant fitted with UVC lights. The CDC has said the these UVC lights will kill 99% all pathogens like bacteria, mold and viruses. The idea is to have clean germ free air circulating as you’re dining here. No more stale stagnant air that everyone is breathing in. See more

Good Morning All, I hope that everyone’s safe and well during the Safe at Home mandate. But if your family’s anything like ours, then cabin fever has probably already set in. We have some good news for those of you who have been requesting that we serve the Banh Xeo Vietnamese crepes. We will now be serving them again only on Saturdays again. But there’s a limited amount being sold. So order yours before they’re sold out.
