Nature is a great teacher. Children can learn so many important lessons from spending some quality time in nature with the family. Take your kids camping and watch them gain confidence, bond with the family, and learn how to be a team player who loves to contribute to the group. #camping #learningexperience #blog #swimschool https://bit.ly/3hpFmXF

It's #WaterSafetyWednesday! Our August water safety tip is "Stay away from pool drains!" Pool drains are often overlooked as a swimming danger and is particularly dangerous for young, inexperienced, or weaker swimmers. So stay safe and keep away from pool drains!

Happy Wednesday everybody! I hope everybody is doing well. Over the past couple of weeks I've posted some video's and pictures of things that we've been doing to pass the time while we're all stuck at home... but I would LOVE the chance to hear from / see some of the things that you've been up to! If you have any pictures or videos of what you and your family have been doing to keep sane, please send them to me at [email protected]!... I hope to see you all soon!

Say hi to coach Jackson! He wanted to give you a little background on him. Here’s what he said: Hi, its coach Jackson checking in. hope everyone is doing all right as quarantine continues. Now, most of you should know my face, but not many know exactly why I decided to work at safesplash swim school. I grew up in a lovely beach town in SoCal called Santa Barbara. But, if you've never been there heres something important to note, if you can't swim why live there. My parents k...new this well and had me in a pool as soon as humanly possible. By the time I reached 12 I had become one of the best swimmers on my swim team and the only swimmer with a near perfect butterfly. A year later I quit the team, for reasons only my other teammates would understand, but my love for swimming never stopped. Fast forward to my junior year of college and I found myself applying to be a swim instructor. I have never taught kids how to swim, but I knew I was a proficient swimmer and I have taught other things so I gave it a try. Over a year later and I couldn't be happier with my students. So, here's a tip, if you think you've got what it takes to swim, maybe just maybe you can teach how to do it as well. If you see him around give him a #safesplashswimschool #safesplashfremont #staysafe #shelterinplace #swimlessons #lifeskill #swiminstructor #safesplash #quarantine See more

Everyone say hello to Miss Iris! Our new instructor. Here’s what she had to say: I’ve been swimming for 9 years and doing water polo for 3. My favorite event is the 500 freestyle and I love practicing turns. Make sure to give her a wave if you see her! ... #safesplash #iamsafesplash #safesplashfremont #safesplashswimschool
