Hey everyone, Recently members of our Rowdy Creek family have suffered a major accident in their family. Garth and Linda Sundberg have been long time supporters of Rowdy Creek Hatchery. Their son Randy was involved in a horrible accident at last chance grade recently and today will mark as being a very pivotal point in his recovery. We would like to join together to send our love, support and prayers during these trying times.

After great scrutiny, discussions and many meetings with officials, the Rowdy Creek Fish Hatchery Board of Director’s has made the decision to cancel the 2021 Rowdy Creek Hatchery Derby, due to The Covid 19 virus. We are considering an online auction to continue fundraising efforts, as the Hatchery still relies on your donations to function. We are planning to continue the derby in 2022. Please stay tuned for updates. We thank you all for your continued support.

The crew at the Hatchery got our first Chinook of the year!! Thank you to all of you that have given your time and money to the Hatchery!!

Last week the Rowdy Creek Fish Hatchery staff with assistance from Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation staff released Chinook salmon at the Fred Haight Boat Launch. Good luck little Chinook we hope to see you back in 3-4 years!

It is with a heavy heart here at Rowdy Creek that we have learned of the passing of Parma Woolworth. Parma, like John was a huge supporter of Rowdy Creek. For years, from behind the scenes she provided all of the desserts for our derbies. This was a huge unbelievable act as we had 150 people plus, for three dinners/ desserts, with as many as four derbies a year. Her desserts were wonderful and she never required more than just a simple thank you. Thank you John and Parma for all you have given and continue to give to Rowdy Creek. It is John and Parma’s wish that all donations in their memory be made to Rowdy Creek. Rest In Peace and thank you!!
