Hello Eventiders and Friends! A belated shout-out to our October 7th Guest Speaker - Mr. Jose Bermudez, Principal of Markham Elementary School in Vacaville. He shared the District's strategy for engaging students through virtual learning, and ultimately transitioning to in-class instruction as circumstances permit. He also explained ways that all of us can volunteer our time and efforts for helping this special school community. Thanks, Jose!!

She shared news of their ongoing programs aimed at mentoring women professionals, and educational scholarships for young students embarking on their quest for a career. The local Soroptimist Club has a long and proud 60-year history in the Vacaville community. Thanks, Jill, for coming to share with us!!
