Rotary Club of Apple Valley gives the Gift of Mobility. A three year project comes just in time for the Holidays. Covid has prevented us from participating during the distribution. Never the less, the gifts have been received during a time of desperate need. Thanks to all Apple Valley Rotarians who made this happen. Wheelchairs Arrived in Mexicali FINALLY! After nearly 3 long years our Wheelchairs arrived in Mexicali. At this time, the 240 wheelchairs are being stored in a Rotarians warehouse in Mexicali until we are cleared to travel and assemble in large groups for distribution which may take place sometime in September. We will keep you and other clubs and members of District 5300 who supported our international project financially.

Congratulations to Karyn Pham, AVHS Interact Club President, who was recently awarded a $1000 Scholarship from our club. Karyn competed for additional Scholarship money by participating in our 4 Way Test Speech Contest and took first place at the Regional Competition earning herself an additional $2,250. A special Thank You to the judges from Toastmasters for giving up their time to be with us for this special event despite COVID.
