None of these people had ever played together before, but as it turned out, they didn't need rehearsal. A little taste of an impromptu jam that happened in-between Covid outbreaks, when we were able to actually live life for a precious, fleeting moment.

We are devastated to announce the sudden and totally unexpected loss of one of our loyal team members. Bill Bessette, a man of many trades and skills, came here about a year ago and became a very important part of our crew as well as our community. He just passed away, we think from a heart attack, without warning and we are shocked beyond belief. He loved this park and saw our vision. He put a lot of his heart into helping us, it seemed to transform him for the better, and it is difficult to imagine the place without him now. We will be missing him for a very long time. His craftwork is there in our entry sign for all to see, admire, and remember. Bill was one of a rare breed that there are not enough of in this world. We will get it done for Bill, or die trying.

Metal detectorist, highly skilled heavy equipment operator, and all around wonderful human being Harry Surtees is a legend here at River's End. For any who may not quite grasp the full historical relevance of our location, he located all of the coins in this display in just a few days of detecting in our main park common area. THANK YOU HARRY for the really special display, we owe you big time for this truly priceless artifact.

Our sign renewal is well underway! Bill and Sean have made tremendous progress on their beautifully detailed restoration of our entry monument. Next update will be with the renewed water feature :)

We are sorry and sad to announce the sudden passing Paul Kelly, one of our long-time residents, on July 16th. He was good man who is very much missed in our little community. Godspeed, Paul.

We are excited to announce the addition of our latest Park amenity, the Socially Distant Saloon.

We are safe - but we do have disaster fatigue. A BIG shout out to our firefighters and every member of our outstanding community at River's End who was ready and able to help one another during these recent wildfires. We are very proud to have been ready and able (having recently refurbished the fire suppression systems) to provide our water to the fire trucks, and other assistance to enable them to do their jobs. Not to be outdone, River's End FD (aka Billy, driving our water truck) was on the job as well moistening the perimeter. We were not forced to evacuate, for which we are very grateful. Everyone else south of us pretty much had to get out... we were extremely lucky. Scoreboard: River's End: 2 Brush fires: 0

On March 21st we hope to see your lovely face at The Dave Norton Memorial BBQ to enjoy a whole lot of live music, good company, and tasty vittles while raising money for a good cause. All profits will be donated directly to the family of Dave Norton.
