Rex Moore’s service team is currently remodeling the data center at the Cal EPA building in downtown Sacramento. The work requires installing a new generator that weighed in at 9,000lb! The crane boom was almost 300 feet in length to reach the 9th story roof top. After months of critical planning and scheduling the team was finally able to perform the work this past Saturday morning. Work began early in the am with street closures and set up for the 350 ton crane. Rex Moore...’s team with the assistance of Maxim Crane, was able to get this generator up and set in place in less than 15 minutes. Safety of the workers, the building and the nearby businesses was our biggest concern in executing this work, our team NAILED it! This was a big milestone for this project and we are happy to have completed flawlessly and to be moving on to the next phase!
