Picture this: a serene cove surrounded by gorgeous rugged volcanic peaks, The constant whispering of the arctic wind pauses for just a moment as you share the lineup with no one except the occasional Goliath passing Orca whale. Magic is all around in nature you just need to go find it!

It’s important to visit where you’ve started you’re journey from every once in a while. For me, that story begins in the ocean. I worked as a scuba dive tour guide for years back when I had just finished high school. I was lucky enough to be leading tours in one of California’s most prolific underwater sanctuaries, the La Jolla ecological reserve. This reserve just so happened to be my playground as a kid due to my being fortunate enough to grow up along the waters edge. As t...ime went on I began to know that ecological reserve like the back of my hand. I knew where to find the families of seven full sharks, or where the soup fin sharks would feed in the early morning. I know the best places to find the rarest of sighting which after some time was the ultimate reason a camera ended up on my hands. My boss at the time wanted me to start documenting all these rare sightings and start compiling and composing short videos of the dives that we could play in the dive shop for the guests. Little did I know that the second that first generation GoPro landed in my hands that I would be hooked for life...
