As we approach the holiday season, please do your best to schedule any travel around school days! And communicate with your school, because with Distance Learni...ng, you may be able to participate in school from anywhere you are! We appreciate everyone’s efforts to avoid taking extra days off during the holidays. Just a few missed days here and there, even if they’re excused absences, can add up to too much lost learning time and leave your child behind in school. #youcountdontmissout ¡Tu Cuentas! ¡No te lo Pierdas!

A team of worker bees at Landau Elementary this week decided to clean up and create a new and welcoming space for fellow staff members (as well as students when they return to campus) to enjoy some fresh air in an inviting, socially-distanced setting. Staff members Wendy Meka, Teresa Strand, Fatima Romero, Carlos Quintana, Manny Gonzalez and Cindy Hosmer took their existing courtyard and pulled all the weeds, planted flowers and created a brick walkway. Take a look at the before and after photos.
