Project Wildsong 16.12.2020

Our ten month old Seppala, Varg, has become Uhtred's favorite playmate. His tolerance and patience unexpectedly landed him the role of puppy patrol. Having an older canine that a wolfdog puppy can take cues from and mimic is ideal. A confident, outgoing animal can help bring out the curiosity and bravery of a youngster. And with wolfdogs being neophobic (scared of new environments, objects, or places that deviate from routine), a buddy is key!

Covid-19 gave us ample time to take a break from social media and spend time with the Ambassadors. Amidst the downtime, we had the opportunity to help transport a litter of High Content Wolfdogs who required extensive care through bottle feeding. We were ecstatic to help and make the trip. And although we hadn't planned on a puppy this year, this little boy became attached to our Executive Director during the long drive. We'd like to introduce you to Uhtred! Jaxom, the nanny Seppala, is obviously thrilled

Between our Executive Director recovering from surgery and our operations navigating the current pandemic, we haven't been active on social media. But the Ambassadors are enjoying themselves. Who wouldn't love unregulated naps, constant playtime, and special treats like salmon heads and raw, meaty bones. Renegade (Rennie) is all smiles!

A little adventure with Cael--He is the king of scent rolling! Thanks for bearing with us as we try to find our rhythm back with posting

We ventured out high onto the trails with Cael and captured his reaction the moment he realized there was still plenty of snow!
