The Posh Moon

As we negotiate this crazy new world of ours, The Posh is looking at how to keep you, our wonderful customers, as safe as possible. With that in mind we are closed today and will not be open for Night of Lights tonight. Usually this is a night of joy where my mom and I thrive on all of the familiar faces as we hand out goodies and mulled wine. We look forward to that again as soon as it is safe. The Pumpkin Weigh-off was different this year. No crowds and no chance to get a picture with the big winner. But luckily I caught the parade of pumpkins heading down Main Street this afternoon!

We are all using hand sanitizer these days but with all of the recalls, It is hard to know which ones to trust. The Posh Moon is proud to carry hand sanitizer from The Naked Bee. It is made right in the US, has 62% of the "right kind" of alcohol, but also has aloe vera and witch hazel. I use it at least 20 times a day while I am in The Posh and my hands have never been softer. No drying or cracking. Hello! My name is David and I am Monica’s husband- at least until she finds out I posted this thread and throws me out... Tomorrow the Posh Moon is going to open its door once again in welcome, albeit for only one or two people at a time. The Posh was always eligible as an Essential Business under the Health Order to remain open but we felt it was best and safest for our family and the community to close like everyone else.... Monica took the time she was closed and has been working nonstop to refresh The Posh completely. Physically you won’t recognize the store- she’s got three fitting rooms now, a ton more useable space, the same lines and brands you love and a better shopping experience for everyone. That’s the main reason I’m posting this- she won’t tell you how hard she has worked to regenerate The Posh while the shop was closed, but I will!! Between creating a website, making daily deliveries like the milkman, managing a new inventory system and retooling the entire store, her passion and work ethic have knocked it out of the park. I hope you will come see her as soon as you can- I know she misses all of you very much!! One more thing to know- and this is important!! For the safety of our family and yours, only two customers, or one cohabitating couple and one other person will be allowed in the shop at any one time. Monica has put in place a reservation system which means you can reserve a time and not worry about getting in. For same-day reservations please call the shop phone at 650-726-3821, and for next day or later please send Monica an email at [email protected] and she will confirm your reservation promptly. You can always drop by (and I think she would love to see you!!) but it is possible she won’t be able to give you access if the allowed spots are already taken. I thank you personally for understanding the reasoning behind this and supporting her in keeping us- and you, safe.
