Sign the petition to reopen access through the RV Park at Bonelli. There's no longer a lake loop. We've lost half our practice routes through the park and the only way for us to do loops is a lot more dangerous for newer riders. Damien and St Lucy's riders headed up to the Rim Nordic Mountain Bike race today. With our season cancelled due to Covid many of our riders are staying in shape doing local races when they can on their own (they're not a school event). An awesome group of parents have been helping get them all going and supporting them in the feed zone The Rim Nordic series is where many of them have ended up. Due to Covid, races are all time trials now with individual staggered starts to minimize exposure. Reggie Miller, former Pacers basketball pro even raced and pitted with the kids today!

Just a heads up. Unfortunately due to the current increase in Covid cases in Southern California all summer sports camps, including Mountain Biking have been cancelled. We hope things will improve over the next few months before our season starts in December.

CROSS COUNTRY MOUNTAIN BIKING CAMP 2020 Open to Boys and Girls Entering 7th-12th grade. Sign-up for this and other great summer camps at https://damienathletics.com//damien-athletics-return-to-p/... When: July 27-31, 2020. 9am - 1pm. No previous experience required. Many of our riders have never mountain biked before. We will start with skills training before riding local trails. Equipment: Mountain bike needed. If you don't have one, you can rent one for $50 for the week. Helmet and glasses are mandatory. The Damien / St. Lucy's Mountain Bike Racing team is going on their 8th year in the SoCal League where they compete against 80 other high schools. Please note that there will be strict Covid 19 guidelines in effect. Riders will have temperature taken before each practice and must wear a mask when grouped together before rolling out. During rides all riders must be 6 ft apart. #damienhsmtb
