This past week, Member Services Supervisor, Yulin Hespelt, got to interview Bill Cooke for our Member Spotlight. He has been a member since 1984 and has been coming to the Center to swim laps, take spin classes, and do some cardio workouts. When more restrictions are lifted, Bill is looking forward to having more opportunities to swim and get on the cardio machines. He is also looking forward to resuming camaraderie with his fellow members, specifically his swim buddie...s. One of Bill’s hobbies is hiking when swimming is not available. He is also a Civil Engineer so he loves to work on heavy marine civil engineering projects! He is also passionate about trains of all different types and sizes! Attention lap swimmers! Youth Aquatics is back so that means there are some changes for lap swim. Please note that on M, T, W, and F evenings the Deep End will be not available from 6-8pm for reservations. Lap Swim Lanes 1-6 will also not be available from 7-8pm for reservations as our Youth Aquatics Fitness Program will be using the pool. Last week we got to interview memberThilo Hanemann,who has been a member since 2017. During the last few months in shelter in place, he has enjoyed spending time with his kids. He has been teaching them how to swim and ride bikes ! When more restrictions are lifted, Thilo is looking forward to traveling , sending his kids back to school , andswimming withMasters at the Center! A fun hobby that he has is waking up early on Saturday mornings to watch European soccer !
