God chose you to be in ministry not because of who you are or what you've done, but because of who he is. Our ministry is a gift of God's grace.

Writing down what God teaches you is a great way to keep his Word from going in one ear and out the other. But taking notes doesn't guarantee you'll apply his truths to your life. Blessing from the Bible doesn't come from knowing the Bible. The blessing comes from doing what the Bible says.

If you are going through a setback in your life, whether in your ministry, relationships, finances, or health, know that this is just a season. God has not left your side and has already planned your deliverance.

The Bible warns us against trusting our own fallible thinking. What we tell ourselves is not always the truth. Sometimes we tell ourselves that things are worse than they really areor better than they really are. The only truth that is trustworthy and unchanging is the truth found in God's Word.

Let this Scripture encourage you to keep on going and to trust in God's faithfulness to carry you through. For we know that "at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9 NIV).

Your problems won’t last forever. The coronavirus pandemic won’t last forever. Uncertainty with the economy won’t last forever. But hope in God lasts forever. These three things continue forever: faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13 NCV).

God wants us to be like him. He wants us to learn how to be generous. He wants us to learn to be free from the love of money, and the only known antidote to materialism is generosity. When it comes to generosity, we can look to the perfect model of generosityGod. Consider the way he meets our needs. When we are generous with others because of God's generosity toward us, it points others to him.

Your weaknesses can only help the people in your church if you share them. Sharing your weaknesses with your congregation allows them to pray for you and teaches them the benefits of being vulnerable with others. All of us are a bundle of strengths and weaknesses. God loves to use weak people not in spite of their weaknesses, but because of them.
