"Delayed Spring Season Status To our Park View Little League Family: We hope that you are all safe and in good health. Most of you have received the District 42 email outlining our current situation. As things stand with the current COVID-19 environment, it does not appear that we will be able to move forward with competitive play any time soon. Because of this, we will be ending our delayed spring season on August 29th, 2020.... As a Board, we would like to thank the Managers and Coaches for putting their time and effort into this season. During these unprecedented times, we have all worked hard to keep our kids safe. Also, thanks to the parents for bringing their kids out, as we would not have a season without them. We would also like to thank everyone for adhering to our safety protocols, sanitation, and social distancing measures that were put in place. We all did a GREAT JOB in following our guidelines, while allowing the kids to get outdoors and play some baseball. The decision to end this season is definitely unfortunate and was a very difficult one to make. We will get through this together and are hopeful that the kids will be back to playing competitive baseball in the near future. I truly appreciate all of the support from our members and the encouraging words we have received in the last couple months. In the end, the PVLL Volunteers (from the Coaches up to the Board President) truly do this for the boys and girls that are part of our league. Although we will not have a traditional Fall Baseball season, we plan on starting baseball clinics during the month of September. This will give your child the opportunity to continue to practice and develop their baseball skills, as well as providing a way to safely socialize. The intent is to divide all kids by age groups, and work on baseball fundamentals. Stay tuned as we will be sharing more information soon! I pray that everyone’s families will stay safe and that we may all see each other in the upcoming season. Thank you, President of Park View Little League and Board Members Johnny Fuentes Park View Little League Board Members
