A year like no other challenged our communities like never before. We worked around the clock with our team, Board of Supervisors, and partners to provide much needed services and offered various options of recreation and respite while following #COVID-19 guidelines. We created #LACountyParks #VirtualRecreationCenter #ParksFromHome, distributed food and resources, supported our parents with summer camps and after school programs for their children. Our overnight camps and fishing provided a safe staycation for our families. For youth and students our Girls Empowerment Conference, Our Spot and live virtual programming kept them motivated.
