Sock Monkey, made specifically for a specific new baby. Created from a pair of socks, fleece, felt, and embroidery thread (and stuffing).

Hi folks. Haven't been around in a while, but I'll be uploading a few new softies in the next few days. Thanks for waiting!

All of the softies are 100% hand-stitched and are made from socks and gloves. The buttons are all vintage pieces, and each softie is initialed to order, so each piece is absolutely unique and tailored to the recipient! Many of these were gifts to friends and their children, but some are currently seeking new homes. Click on each photo to see a particular softie's adoption status! I made a Toothless dragon head with a mouth! It only took me two tries, although I have no doubt it could have come out much better. But the fundamentals are all there without any serious flaws. This was a commissioned work (it will, of course, be attached to the body very soon).

I think I'm going to start making sea creatures. What do people think about a sock Whale? Also, I've had a request for a motorcycle :) We'll see how I do.
