Laurie Tavan Corsetry & Gowns

As I've been focused primary on health and medical issues I have not been producing as much. But I have been active in researching, learning, and planning new projects for the new year. I have proposed to put together a rotating museum display of extant garments in my collection at the San Jose Woman's club. Keep your eyes peeled in 2020. I will be pulling back to my portrayal as Madam Caplin to anchor this project :)

Interested in stitching out your own quilted petticoat? I adore mine. For an upcoming project I’ll be removing the band and resetting for a bum roll instead with an anglaise. I can’t wait to feature this petticoat again. Denise stitched out the entire design for me and I constructed the petticoat for my trip to Venice this year for carnevale.
