"There is enough on this planet for everyone's needs" ~Mahatma Gandhi. Mitzvah Day 2021 features a range of projects, each led by a non-profit organization addressing issues of poverty, hunger, homelessness, aging or the environment. For adults in particular, this year we present a lunch-and-learn opportunity with IsraAID. Join a stimulating conversation on their response to COVID-19 globally and in the US, including by supporting refugees, survivors of natural disasters an...d US food banks. The presentation will also focus on the unique Israeli expertise that IsraAID brings to global partnerships, and ways to get involved in the Bay Area, including volunteering at a food bank. You only need to bring your open heart and mind, and the drive to give back to those in need. Register at paloaltojcc.org//2021-mitzvah-day-lunch-and-learn-with-an-
