Club President Nick Alivojvodic and members of the Rotary Club of Coto de Caza/RSM del Sol were busy this morning dedicating the new storage facility supporting RSM Cares Food Pantry. The dedication was held in conjunction with their weekly club meeting. Instead of zooming, the club conducted their socially distant meeting in the parking lot. Placentia Rotary has been working with the Sam's Club in Fullerton to provide housekeeping items to the new 50 Apartment Veterans Village in Placentia. Sam's Club then asked if the Club could distribute 400 new sets of pillows that they could not use. Veterans Village only needed 50 sets, so the club provided 150 sets to Placentia Homeless Navigation Center, 50 sets to Whitten Center, 100 sets to the Homeless Intervention Shelter (HIS) House, and 50 sets to Rotary District 5320.
