We’re interrupting your regularly scheduled scrolling to share a super easy and helpful tip as part of #HealthyVisionMonth. This tip is a great one to always keep in mind since it’s helpful year round not just this month. #HealthEquity #healthyeyes #wellness
Meet our #volunteer Dr. Richard Gayle. He is an orthopedic surgeon at Palo Alto Medical Foundation, who has donated care through our program since 2018. Last year, Elizabeth was referred to our program for repair of a meniscus tear. She described her pain as a 9 out of 10 and struggled walking, standing for lengthy periods, and using stairs. Dr. Gayle repaired Elizabeth’s meniscus tear and arranged physical therapy to facilitate her recovery. Elizabeth is back on her feet and feeling much better. She is very thankful for the donated care from Dr. Gayle and his team. Thank you so much Dr. Gayle! #doctor #donated #healthcare #orthopedic #sjearthquakes #pamf #sutter
#WomenWednesday There is no limit what we, as women, can accomplish - Michelle Obama. Thank you to all the women who volunteer with our program. We are so grateful for you all and the care you provide to our patients. A special thank you to Dr. Zigman for volunteering during her pregnancy.

In recognition of #NationalWomensHealthWeek, we want to thank all our volunteers helping women improve their health. Here's a #TBT of Dr. Melissa Seeker, GYN specialist at Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation (Sutter Health) in Santa Rosa and her patient Batsy during mask-free pre-pandemic days. We're looking forward to seeing more pictures of our #volunteers and #patients and their beautiful smiles/smize! #NWHW

January is National Thyroid Awareness Month. According to the American Thyroid Association, 1 in 10 people suffer from a thyroid disorder. It’s important to have the thyroid checked out during a regular physical check, because an undiagnosed thyroid disease can lead to other serious health conditions. #thyroidawarenessmonth #checkyourthyroid #hypothyroidism #hyperthyroidism
It's... #NationalFunAtWorkDay! We try not to take ourselves too seriously. In the 'old days' we did potlucks, mini-golf, bowling , & karaoke. Now we hang out on video calls to celebrate birthdays and play games. How's your office making time for fun? Post pics and tag us!
What did it take to process 1,817 new referrals, arrange 1,713 services, and ensure patients arrived prepared & on time for 4,064 appointments last year? For one, lots of phone calls & text messages between our dedicated staff and the wonderful patients! Thank you Karuna Health for helping us make this happen!
Happy National Medical Group Practice Week! Thank you to all of our #volunteers for your #dedication to serving community members in need. Here are a few pictures from some of our phenomenal partners in the North Bay! #operationaccess #nationalmedicalgrouppracticeweek #inspo
#TBT: Hernia repairs were among the early procedures our volunteers donated to people in our community. Since 1993, our program has grown to include many other specialties, but hernia repairs continue to be in high demand. Hernias cause pain and prevent people like Juan from working and doing other activities; ignoring symptoms can sometimes lead to serious complications. Thank you Dr. Olakunle Ajayi (far right) of Kaiser Permanente Thrive Oakland for helping Juan and his family!
#ShoutOut to the Gastroenterology nurses @johnmuirhealth Concord Hospital who volunteer alongside CMO Irving Pike, MD! Thank you for your dedication! #YearoftheNurse2020
