The new solar year is upon us as the Earth begins her tilt back toward the Sun, signifying the completion of another life cycle before the emergence of spring. For thousands of years the Winter Solstice has been celebrated around the worldacknowledging the shortest day of the year and a universally sacred occasion honored for centuries as a time to gather. So let's celebrate the darkness just as much as we welcome the return of the sun's radiance, because we need both: duality exists within us all. Come practice with Hannah this Sunday at 4pm in Jewell Park in Pacific Grove. * As with all our outdoor class offerings, please follow strict social distancing guidelines, dress warm and bring your mat! If you’ve frequented our outdoor classes you have noticed the hummingbirds constantly dancing around us as we practice together. These tiny birds are an important figure in culture and folklore and symbolize endurance and perseverance. A hummingbird reminds us to be adaptable and accept changes. No matter what your challenges are the hummingbird represents an ancient symbol of joy and happiness. Come practice with us outside this week and soak up the beauty of the @coopermolera gardens

Thankful for every memory, every minute, every moment with our Om community. Grateful for our amazing teachers who have boldly showed up outdoors and virtually. Grateful for @altabakery and @coopermolera for providing a sanctuary while our physical space remains closed. Most stories don’t go the way we want or when we want them to. And so, we practice gratitude again and again. This year has been one of so many unforeseen challenges. We hope you are safe. We hope you are taki...ng care of your heart. We hope you feel peace today and every day.
