Looking for free fun things for your kids to do? Try Disc Golf! Any kids who show up Sunday June 13 anytime between noon-3 will receive their own kid friendly disc golf disc to keep! Lessons on putting and throwing available from qualified coaches as well as a putting game and a beginner friendly 9 hole course set up. All 100% free! Discs available for parents/guardians to borrow to play along!

Join us this Saturday, Nov 7th from 10am to 3pm (or as long as you want to work) for a Good Old-Fashioned Workday at the RCRC property. RCRC has been approved for a free chipping day and we are looking to move piles of branches (which we were going to burn) to the meadow in preparation for the chip truck. There is also plenty of dead wood and clearing out to be done along the entry way and other corners of the site. ... I’m working on getting us sandwiches for lunch and I’m baking some cookies. If you want to come along and do less you can help with lunch or pick up some sticks or prune some of the redwood sprouts that keep coming up Should be something for everyone. Maybe you can bring your flute and serenade those who are working. You will need to bring your mask, work gloves, and if you have a chain saw, rake, pruning shears or other tools for working with wood please bring those. We’ll be working in small teams or you can work on your own. We’ll keep distance at lunch and have a good time! Bev

The view from the tees of our Disc Golf course! We were very luck to get Leonard Muise a prominent Bay area Disc Golf course designer to come up and lay out a very fun 18 hole course. With hundreds of volunteer hours and many donations from local and far off businesses and disc golf clubs the course is nearing completion. Disc golf is a great family friendly, healthy and inexpensive outdoor activity.
