The Private Room officially re-opens on Monday, June 8! We are beyond excited to welcome you back and to re-kindle our beloved community. Returning to the salon, you will notice several new changes (which meet and exceed current L.A. County regulations), all designed to ensure your sense of well-being:... Check-in requirements: Updated client information for effective contact tracing Signed liability waivers before each appointment Temperature checks and verbal health declaration Face masks worn in the salon during your services Social distancing during any non-service related activity Please call before entering the salon, and we will let you know if we have completed our enhanced cleaning procedures Regular disinfection of all touch-heavy surfaces Bookings will be staggered in order of social distancing rules, please book in advance so we can accommodate your schedule If you exhibit any symptoms of or have been exposed to someone with Covid-19, you must reschedule your appointment a minimum of 14 days in the future. Local medical advisors have actively vetted our safety controls and tools, and we are taking the following additional measures to reinforce our already stringent cleaning practices and safety protocols: The salon will be open by appointment only Numerous hand-sanitizer stations and wipes U.V.-C sanitation lamps U.V.-ray sanitizer for all styling implements and tools All Beverages will be served in disposable cups and by request only (Feel free to bring your own beverages in sealed water bottles/containers) Additional gloves and masks will be available upon request TPR stylists and staff will don masks, face shields and/or goggles (also available on loan to clients) during service appointments. Mobile partitions will separate salon stations to ensure maximum privacy, especially for services that require longer processing time. A few last requests: Please meet any guests, impromptu visitors, or pets outside of the salon Please do not bring any outside food or meal deliveries Please limit conversation in the shampoo area Please leave larger hand-carry items, such as handbags, totes, and shopping bags in your car Finally, the TPR team acknowledges that these new protocols may not initially seem convenient, but they nonetheless exemplify our abiding mission to deliver unparalleled service that respects and honors the needs of both our beloved staff and clients. Dear Friends: As the COVID-19 situation continues to rapidly evolve, we wanted to reach out and update you on the latest news from the City of Beverly Hills. As of this writing (3/17) the city has adopted an ordinance outlining proactive measures to reduce the potential spread of the virus that include but are not limited to the closure of all beauty services, spas, hair salons, and nails salons to the public. The Private Room will be closed starting today until the City's l...ocal emergency is cancelled. Feel free to respond here or email [email protected] with any questions. Dear Friends: As the COVID-19 situation continues to rapidly evolve, we wanted to reach out and let you know what we are doing here in the salon to stay safe and what you can expect from us as things change. The Private Room has always strived to be a clean, safe and inviting atmosphere, and our health and the health of our clients is of utmost importance. As of this writing (3/16) we plan to remain open with several limitations:... 1. Booking only 1 client at a time in the salon. Please book your appointments in advance with this in mind 2. Wiping down and disinfecting the salon before and after each guest. This includes each station, shampoo and dryer chairs, door handles and bathroom fixtures and payment terminal/front desk area. 3. We will minimize staff and ask all staff to stay home and not come to work if they are symptomatic of any illness, from the common cold to the flu. We would also ask you all to do the same if you are sick - please refrain from coming into the salon and stay home to get well. The speed and severity of the response to this outbreak is enough to leave us all a little breathless, but we hope that The Private Room can remain a part of your lives.
