NEW BEER RELEASE Love Song Sour Double IPA with Passion Fruit For the first release of our Brewer & Chef Seasonal Beer Collab Series, we bring you a new style that is all the rage. We’ve concocted a fruited sour double IPA using freshly harvested passion fruit from our very own Pat and Oscar’s garden. Pat reached out to us late this summer saying she was harvesting hundreds of passion fruit from her decades old vines every week and wondered if we had a use for them. We knew... exactly what to do. This flavor rush of a beer isn’t exactly an IPA or a sour ale. Slightly hoppy, slightly sour and packed to the rafters with intoxicating passion fruit flavor. We timed the release of this Fall delight to coincide with the start of our new Seasonal Menu. Chef Nick will be curating a small menu that constantly evolves with what’s available from local farms. Each menu item will be expertly paired with one of our incredible OBC beer creations, made by our Head Brewer, Joe Flores. Here we offer up a beautiful Pan Seared Salmon with passion fruit sauce, caramelized fennel, oven-dried tomatoes, fresh herbs and toasted sunflower seeds.
