Our golf course is now open following overseeding, and we're doing something a little different to celebrate our 20th anniversary. One notable fact about the pre-opening days of Oak Quarry is that Brian Curley, the principal architect, thought that the opening hole should be what is currently the 17th hole. "This would have offered a comfortable pair of starting par 4 holes, with a money par 3 (currently hole 14), a drivable par 4 and a strong par 5 to finish," recalls Curl...ey. To honor Curley’s contribution to Oak Quarry, we are starting this new season by leading off your round on the 17th hole. We have special commemorative scorecard that reflects his original idea to start your round where he intended.
