Meet Sarah Gertz, our amazing piano teacher on today’s #wednesdayspotlight I wanted to become a volunteer because I want to help kids enjoy music. As someone who loves playing the piano, I want to give kids the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of music and to do what they love. I want to help them develop their passion for music and to be able to express it through piano. I love working with the kids and seeing how much they enjoy learning a song. I’ve been playing the piano since I was 6 and music has always been there for me. When I play, I’m able to express my emotions and get lost in the music. Music is empowering and uplifting.
