"It's Election Day. I am going to take a wild guess that you have been processing a lot about our community and country. Jesus states in Matthew 6:34, Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. In fact, God says in Isaiah 41:10, Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous rig...ht hand. Unite, I want to implore you today to not be anxious or fearful. God has been on the throne. God is still on the throne, and God will always be on the throne. God has always had you in mind. God has you in mind on this Election Day, and God will always have you in mind. He might not always make sense to us, but He is working and will continue to work all things together for the glory of those who love Him. So be strong and courageous today. Be strong and courageous as you watch the elections, and be strong and courageous in these coming days, months, and years knowing that this is a perfect opportunity to share your faith by sharing the HOPE you find in God. Let's keep our eyes on the author and perfecter of our faith. That is where we find confidence in the uncharted days of 2020.
