Back to school equals outbreaks of head lice. Nows the time to start the year off right and get in the habit of practicing good lice prevention. 1. Girls should wear hair up in a tight bun, ballerina style. 2. Hair products like mousse and gel are great for keeping those loose fly away strands stuck down to the head. That's the way to keep the lice bugs away, nothing to grab onto to get on the head. 3. Get a metal lice comb and keep it in the medicine cabinet. When the lice notes and calls start to come home, do a comb check on your child with wet hair & conditioner. Wipe the comb on a paper towel and looks for brown spots and bugs. Early detection keeps a bout with head lice from spreading to family and friends.
