Newton Booth Neighborhoods-Association

Our friends over at the Midtown Association have been organizing some great activities to help bring more community focus and energy to nearby Winn Park (Winn Park is the closest city park to the Newton Booth neighborhoods)! Click the link for more details on "Wednesdays at Winn"!

Our friends with the Midtown Association will be hosting a Sacratomato Week 'Bar on the Block' this Sunday from 11am until 2pm at 28th and N streets! We will have 28th St closed from N St. to Neighbors Alley for a fun event that day, so if you or any of your neighbors want to come by, please let them know! The event is free (but cocktails will be $8) and will feature a handful of bars making bloody marys and micheladas, including Paragary's, INK, Centro, Red Rabbit, and Harlow's. There will be an emcee in Patrick Harbison, live music by Coco Lamar, and a dj! The Midtown Association has invited NB, AT, and PR neighbors to come and enjoy a Sunday morning celebrating tomato season with other Midtown neighborhoods at this free event in the Sutter District.

The City of Sacramento is hosting a second public workshop for the Lower Broadway Complete Streets Plan on Thursday, August 8th, from 5:30 7:00 p.m. at Leataata Floyd Elementary School. There will be a brief presentation at 5:45 to provide an overview of the project and updates. The rest of the workshop will be in an open house format.
