SGV Panthers Beep Baseball

If you think baseball is cool and that blind people playing baseball is even cooler, you’ve gotta check us out! We are looking for sighted coaches/volunteers including: pitcher, catcher, social media manager, and more. Volunteers and donations keep us afloat, so if you’re interested in sponsoring, coaching, playing, volunteering or even just watching, please reach out; we have a spot for you! No experience with visually impaired people required, just show up. We’ll show you the ropes and you’ll be having a blast in no time!

Hi Panthers, Friends and Family: I hope you all have made the best of this wild week. I have had you all on my mind while the events have been unfolding. There is nothing I’d rather be doing than spending Saturday on the field with my Panther family and getting a brief reprieve from the news that’s been happening around the world. But unfortunately it is now clear that we must also take preventative action for the safety of everyone. We will be canceling practices until furth...er notice, but our goal is to resume on April 18th. I will be closely monitoring the situation and make any adjustments as needed. We will also be postponing our Beep Ball Bash that was scheduled for April 25th and will work on a new date as soon as reasonably possible. If anyone has any questions, or needs anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via email or phone. We are a family and I am sending you all my love. Save the date! Come join us in Pasadena on Saturday April 25 for some great food, raffle prizes and fun! This is the perfect opportunity to try out beep baseball for yourself while supporting your local blind athletes. You’ll put on a blindfold, hit live pitches and run the bases (if you dare). You have probably been hearing about beep baseball for awhile now, whether you know one of our players, a volunteer or you want to support, we’re excited to spend this day with you to share our sport with family, friends and the community! Bee Yang first got his start with the Boston Renegades Beep Baseball team before moving to Spokane Washington where he played and met his wife Kristi. They eventually moved to Southern California where they joined the Panthers. They have been with us since the very first practice when we only had 4 players. Bee and Kristi just welcomed their second child into the world and we are so thrilled for them. They are looking forward to joining the Panthers for the 2020 World Series!

Bring along the kids and a picnic basket and come see what it’s all about.
