We are excited to be hosting Val Parker from Habitat for Humanity of Orange County at the Five Crowns on Tuesday, June 15th! The topic is "Affordable Home Ownership". The program is open to the public. $10 donation requested for coffee and muffins. Breakfast is available for $20. Zoom link available upon request.

Have you or someone you love ever been diagnosed with cancer? Cancer Kinship is an amazing organization providing programs and services which empower patients and survivors to take control of their health and future. Join us for coffee on Tuesday to hear directly from the Founder: Yoli Origel. Volunteers needed to help launch a new community project to support Cancer Kinship, send some love and encouragement to newly diagnosed cancer patients, and to spread awareness in our community regarding cancer screening and available resources.

The Otto and Fran Walter Foundation has pledged $15.5 million to The Rotary Foundation to start a Rotary Peace Center in the Middle East or North Africa. The R...otary Foundation will select a partner institution to host the Otto and Fran Walter Rotary Peace Center in 2024, and the first Rotary Peace Fellows are expected to start studying there in January 2026. The City of Newport Beach is committed to supporting our small businesses during the regional stay-at-home order that went into effect Sunday. We are continuin...g to distribute grant funding to qualified small businesses (more than 300 have received assistance in the past several months). Together with our partners at Newport Beach & Co., the chambers of commerce and local business groups, we have launched the "S.H.I.P. Shape" initiative to encourage alignment with public health recommendations and promote a "shop local" message for our residents. The best holiday gift we can give to ourselves and our neighbors this season is to support our community.
