Old news for us at the Newhall Aquarium..but for those who never heard, we are considered a local landmark as far as the Santa Clarita version of monopoly is concerned..:) We are still very proud to have been included among other well established key landmarks and community organizations..even if its only for local version of a popular board game *We are also pleased to announce that we are now booking for spring and summer outreach programs. With the current health restrictions, we have developed effective safety procedures for our outdoor birthday party and educational outreach program for students/classrooms. For our discounted rate of 180$, we conduct a 1 hour educational outreach brought to you by our staff. Learn about and interact with ocean invertebrates and pet sharks all at the convenience and safety of your own home or school. Take advantage of this opportunity and call us today to schedule.

We have been talking to professional puppeteers about starting marine educational puppet shows for some of our outreach programs/birthday parties as well as once a week to be designated at our learning center. Would our followers like puppet shows? Who would request an outreach with a puppet show as part of the event? Let us know..

Groupers are the giant fish of the sea..our resident dragon grouper has really grown. We are scheduling small groups to enter while practicing social distancing. Hello all, we are currently in the tedious process of reopening the aquarium as businesses and other entities are being allowed to reopen. We, as an educational museum are following the lead of bigger aquariums such as the Aquarium of the Pacific in our timeline of reopening as well as having the proper safety precautions in place when we open our doors and outreach programs back up.
