New computers at NetFragz! We’re now running the latest Nvidia RTX 3060 video cards on brand new computers, and we have all of our 144hz 32 monitors now on monitor mounts to free up the desk space!

PlayStation 5's now available for play at NetFragz! NBA2K21, Madden 21, FIFA 21 and Assassins Creed Valhalla also added to our PlayStation games. :)

Good News! We're opening back up at midnight tonight, hopefully for good this time! Note that you MUST wear facemasks in order to come in, and seating is limited until everything opens up more. If you have any symptoms of Covid-19, please stay at home!

Cross fingers! We're VERY close to reopening thanks to changes in the guidelines and dropping caseloads. It could be any day now. Capacity will be limited to 25%, and we're still awaiting brand new PC's, but we still have 17 of our previous PC's and all of our consoles available when we do reopen. New PC's will be coming in a few weeks. New PS5's, wellll... still waiting for availability there.

If you work at restaurants, grocery stores, etc you are now eligible to get a vaccine! Go go go!

EDIT: County has not moved to the next tier, so we must remain closed for now. /sigh Psst... it looks like we will be re-opening TOMORROW afternoon, assuming the county is moved to the next tier as anticipated. Stay tuned tomorrow for verification!

Against everything we had hoped for, the State is now requiring us to close once again. We'll keep you posted and open again as soon as we possibly can.

New rules as we deal with Covid-19: 1) We will no longer allow outside meals and snacks. We will still allow non-alcoholic drinks, but please no food/snacks where you are eating at the station for more than a couple minutes with uncovered mouths. We cannot allow the place to become like a restaurant during this time. Please eat them in your car or elsewhere before coming into NetFragz. 2) We are very strict on face masks now. Far too many haven't heeded the guidelines and... refuse to listen. If you do not follow our guidelines, your computer will be turned off and you will be asked to leave. Please be respectful of everyone here and wear your face mask. 3) We will now help direct you to proper seating distanced from other customers the best we can. If you have a preferred place to sit, please let us know. Thank you for helping keep NetFragz safe for both the employees here as well as other customers, family and friends. We will continue to do the best we can as well, wiping down stations after use, wiping door handles, the restroom, controllers, the credit card reader, etc, etc, etc. We have tons of clear screens/barriers, and we just added HEPA air filtration to help keep the air clean here as well. But it's a community effort, and we really appreciate your help during this incredibly challenging time. NetFragz

Getting close?? "Every county in California is assigned to a tier based on its test positivity and adjusted case rate. To move forward, a county must meet the next tier’s criteria for two consecutive weeks. To move from our current purple tier to red, we must show no more than seven new cases per 100,000 residents, and a positivity rate of less than 8%. Our County is one week into showing these numbers. As of today, we have 6.7 cases (per 100,000) and our positivity rate is 5.7%. If we hold these numbers (or better) we should be able to move into the red tier soon."

New game update system at NF: if any game needs an update, we update it once and ALL of the computers are *automatically* updated on restart! Play a game not on our list?? Let us know and we'll get it installed for you so it's available on every computer after installing it just once. We're constantly looking out for updates, but if we miss any please let us know so we can get them all done quickly. We need to be the ones doing the update so we can apply it to all station...s. We don't want anyone ever waiting on updates again. :) Valorant and many other games have also been added to our systems BTW. Looking to add Command & Conquer Remastered today. Still a few things left to do, including getting 4 TV's on with streams, but NF is looking freakin amazing now! Arcades with 1,500 classic games. New 87" TV in back. Tons of futuristic looking designs all over the place: SciFi control panel wall, armory wall, spaceship window mural, tons of LED's, new restroom, storage area, etc, etc. We also have new monitor mounts coming in soon so the monitor base doesn't get in anyone's way. It should open the desk space up quite a bit and give a fresher look to our stations. On the anti-Covid front, we put up clear barriers between most gaming stations but still have plenty of 2 seaters so you can still play with your household members too. Of course we are cleaning more than ever too. Every time someone leaves, we wipe down their station. We are constantly wiping all the door knobs, front desk, frig doors, restroom, etc, etc.

Just to keep everyone updated, we cannot open until Phase 3 (gaming, arcades, movie theaters, etc) is approved for SB County. The State and county are currently in Phase 2 accelerated (dine in restaurants, etc). Moreover, we are still finishing up a few things here in preparation, including a new server which will allow for much easier game updates (update one computer and ALL computers will be updated), clear PVC screens for everyone's protection, arcades (any day now), and some additional decor changes. Though we have no idea when they will move to phase 3, once they do, we should be able to open very quickly afterwards... certainly within a day.
