New 5.0-star Review: "Okay guys hands down best ramen I've personally tried in La. It's been getting a little cold in La and I have found the perfect ramen place. Their broth is so creamy and rich in flavor. The noodles are also perfectly cooked, not too soft not too hard perfect texture. And the meat... wow it is so soft and when you bite into it, it just melts in your mouth. I also tried the tempura rolls which were also pretty good. The quality was impressive considering its a ramen restaurant. If yal are in the area or looking for a good portion, great value priced, authentic Japanese ramen, I definitely recommend it!Amazing service!! Had great food overall and was so accommodating to social distancing. Will come back again."

The pork belly is high quality and super tender along with the perfectly cooked egg. I usually go with the classic or blaze with pork belly. I have also tried the chicken kaarage which is bomb along with their house sauce which always hits the spot! It's definitely a gem in highland park and one of the best ramen places in Los Angeles!"

In comparison to the pics of their food, what i received looked like a B-minus version of the pics.I thought i was going to get nicely plated, slightly elevated food but i was wrong. It tasted fine but was served sloppy and it was a little pricey for the quality and presentation. I was only kinda disappointed in the lemon roll, it was decent i guess. everything else tasted pretty good, even if it didnt look so appetizing."

New 5.0-star Review: "As I sit here halfway through my 7th Postmates Ramen of York order since quarantine, I feel compelled to write a review for one of my very favorite LA restaurants, both prior and during this crappy moment in time. It seems clear some food prep happens here in order to get through making orders quickly, so every once in a while there might be an item that obviously wasn't made to order, but I do not fault them for that AT ALL. As someone who worked in the... restaurant industry for several years, I get it. And I can't imagine how it must be trying to make it through this crisis and be as efficient as possible. If your first experience here was not quite up to your expectations, TRY IT AGAIN. Ramen of York has been my quarantine indulgence, one of the few things that has kept me sane and feeling like my old life (where I also ordered Ramen of York regularly). My personal favorites are the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna appetizer (ho-ly sh*t, so good), the Chicken Karaage Bowl, Vegetable Ramen, and a new favorite...the pork grilled Gyoza! If I had one very small criticism at all in this time, it would be that I wished they would seal the top of their bags going out for delivery, but that is it. Thank you for your existence, Ramen of York and to all Yelpers considering ordering from this establishment, just do it already!" See more
