UPDATE: COVID-19 Statement 3/31/2020 Good afternoon NYB families, The President has extended the COVID-19 Social Distancing Policy through April 30, 2020. Based upon this federal mandate and to protect our players and their families, the PONY Organization has recommended that our league exercise an abundance of caution and implement a temporary suspension of all league activities until no earlier than Friday, May 1, 2020. ... What that means for NYB: The NYB Board will be meeting this week to discuss options for this season for the different case scenarios. At this point in time, the season is not canceled and only postponed per PONY Organization recommendations in line with the CDC, school districts, and other government agencies. We will be looking at all options including and not limited to a condensed season, season extension, worst-case scenario season cancelation. The league has started to receive emails asking if refunds will be given. NYB is a non-profit organization that relies on registration fees and sponsorships to operate the organization. Almost all of the costs to operate the 2020 Spring Season has already been dispersed by the league to cover uniforms, equipment, baseballs, league gear, Pony registration fees, league insurance, etc. As soon as we have a better idea as to how soon we will be back on the fields, we can assess our options. We will continue to operate our league with the future in mind so that we can ensure the long term growth of the organization. Good afternoon NYB Families, Out of an abundance of caution and on the recommendation of PONY Baseball and Softball organization, NYB will be suspending all league operations until April 6, 2020. This includes practices, games, trainings, gatherings, etc. Fields will be closed throughout this time to ensure the safety of our players, coaches, and fans. This is a unique situation and all youth sports are taking precautions including many of the leagues that we will be playin...g against for inter league play. In the interim, the Board will be meeting today to discuss schedules and ways to maximize the time with games when we are cleared to play. Natomas Youth Baseball, Natomas Girls’ Softball, and Natomas Community - Due to Governor Newsom's most recent announcement and California public health officials' newly issued policy to postpone or cancel gatherings of 250 people or more, we are saddened to announce that our Opening Day Parade and Celebration being held this Saturday, March 14, 2020, has been cancelled. Natomas Youth Baseball and Natomas Girls’ Softball will continue to update their leagues on the status of practices and games as new information is received. Thank you for your understanding.

Great news. Uniforms will be delivered to coaches soon. If for some reason a player has not played their full registration they will not be able to get their uniform. Please make arrangements with our registration team to pay if you have not already. With the parade 1 week away there is no time to waste.

Hello baseball families! Natomas Youth Baseball and Natomas Girls Softball is in need of volunteers for our community Opening Day Parade. We need help with parade route cleanup, traffic control, bounce house monitoring and more. Teens welcome! Get those community volunteer hours in.
