Lestonnac Free Clinic, in collaboration with ALAPIO and the Beverly Hills Surgery Center, provided $60,000 worth of free surgeries to low income and uninsured patients. On average, the out of pocket cost for each procedure is approximately $10,000. We are excited to share with you our new, state of the art telehealth equipment that we were fortunate to receive funding for. This equipment allows patients to be treated at a distance in the areas of dermatology, ophthalmology, and diagnostic imaging. This thankful patient recently received a FREE brain surgery after suffering from epilepsy for 10 years. He was fortunate to have the surgery just 2 months before the birth of his first child. Since the surgery he reported a speedy recovery and has not had any symptoms seizures since. Lestonnac is fortunate to have a partnership with the Thompson Family Foundation and Hoag to provide a Neurologist who facilitates a weekly Epilepsy clinic at our Orange location.
