Hi LA folks, Some casting folks at NBC, working on a brand new cultural project called "Home Sweet Home," directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ava DuVernay, reached out to us, and are looking to feature some Muslim families. Here are the details if anyone is interested:... Blake Burdette a Casting Producer at NBC is working on a brand new cultural project called "Home Sweet Home," directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ava DuVernay. The show pulls back the lid and shines a light on the many different ethnicities, cultures, religions, hobbies, and traditions out there within each family. Each episode follows two families that are entirely different from one another as they walk in each other's shoes for five days and explore one another's family. We want to celebrate how families may look different from one another and celebrate their similarities. We are looking to feature a few Muslim families in a few episodes. We're looking for a family under one roof (homes only, no apartments) with multiple children older than five years old in the Los Angeles area. If you have any families that you think we should interview, I would love to meet them! Each selected family will receive $7,500 for five days of filming.
