The estimated shutoff and restoration for this event: begins between 1800 on 10/14/20 and 2100 on 10/14/20. PG&E will inspect equipment before restoring power when the severe weather has passed. Dolan Fire Update - All Zones Now Open The Evacuation WARNING for the Dolan Fire - Zone 27 has been lifted. This completes the lifting of ALL zones in and arou...nd the Dolan Fire perimeter. We ask all residents and businesses in and around the fire area to remain vigilant in the weeks ahead. There will still be fire equipment on the roads moving in and out and around the fire perimeter as recovery operations continue. Locally the Forest Closure Order is still in effect for Los Padres National Forest. This decision will be re-evaluated as conditions change. REMINDER: If you feel that your life is in danger, do not wait for an emergency notification to leave the area. Notify the authorities or 9-1-1 of your concerns when you have safely evacuated the area. The NWS has issued a Red Flag Warning for the Santa Lucia Mountains and Los Padres National Forest in effect now until 6am on Saturday 10/3. A Heat Advisory has... been issued for the Salinas Valley and Carmel Valley in effect until 8pm 10/01. ...RED FLAG WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM PDT SATURDAY FOR BREEZY NORTHERLY WINDS AND CRITICALLY DRY CONDITIONS... WIND...Northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts 25 to 30 mph. Strongest winds above 2000 feet with strongest gusts above 2500 feet and during the overnight and early morning hours. HUMIDITY...10 to 20 percent, dropping as low as the single digits with little or no nighttime recovery or a tendency to lower into the single digits between 3 am and sunrise. Driest above 2000 feet. * HIGHEST THREAT...The Dolan Fire and any new ignitions. * IMPACTS: Any ongoing fires or new fires that start will spread rapidly. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now...or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
