I was chatting with some friends yesterday and keep forgetting that not everyone is familiar with mohinga, so I figure it makes sense educate every now and then.

We've been kicking around the idea of adding Coconut Noodles, Ohn No Kyawswe to our menu in case Mohinga is not your thing. Maybe at the second event. Keep an eye out!

When people ask how to describe mohinga...

It's a big day for Mohinga House! Here's a preview of our menu items for our upcoming August debut. What do you think? We thinking about testing our our ohn no khao swe (coconut noodles) also. What do you want to eat??

It was all inspired by this guy here, my dad. He moved to the states in the 70's (as you can see by this incredible pic) and he and my mom had me (also seen in this incredible pic). He taught me how to make mohinga, his style. I've never met a Burmese person who says his style is authentic and I've also never met a Burmese person who doesn't like it.
