We’re delighted that our friend @reemscalifornia will be bringing new life into our former home in the Mission and we look forward to celebrating the opening in early 2020! In the meantime, we’re missing all of you in the run up to Thanksgiving, and wish everyone a peaceful holiday season

We are very grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us this weekend and for the past 12+ years! As of now (2pm Saturday) we are sold of sweet pie. We will open at 9am tomorrow for our final day. We’ll have pies available first thing in the morning on a first come first serve basis, and we encourage you to come as early in the day as possible, knowing there might be a wait, and knowing we will sell out early. We have been showered with so much love since we announced our closure, and one thing that means is that more days than not we are selling out of pie! A couple months ago we quickly adjusted production and staffing to keep up with y’allbeloved regulars and newcomers aliketo serve as many of you as possible in the limited time we have left at the shop. But one of our founding principles is sustainability of all resources- products and people. All our pies are made and ser...ved by the hands of our incredible team, and while we promise you we are baking A TON every day, there is a very real capacity that we’ve reached in order to sustain our resources over time (think, it’s like the week of Thanksgiving every week!). So, we will close the shop early the next few nights, when we sell out of pie. We encourage you all to stop by during the day (though we know this isn’t possible for everyone every day) to grab that supper, slice or pie to share with your family. On Saturday, @murielkay collected her prize (and crown!) for her Door County Cherry Pie which won Best in Show at our 13th Annual Pie Baking Contest. We are still full of energy from all the love that filled our shop on Saturday for this last gathering of a beloved community event. Thank you to all the fabulous bakers (past and present) who have participated in the contest over the years, our panels of judges who take on the hard tasking of tasting 20 pies, our community for showing up and championing this event, and of course our amazing staff who make it all happen.
