These are the faces of hard working, compassionate, loving people who want nothing more than to help you and your fur babies. This is not just a career for them, it’s a true passion. So this week, we say THANK YOU and we truly appreciate everything these 4 do for the veterinary clinic!

October 11-17 is National Veterinary Technician Week- Veterinary technicians are integral players on the veterinary healthcare team. You are on the frontlines, compassionately working with clients whose beloved animals need care. You work tirelessly in exam rooms, labs, and operating rooms, putting to work your vast technical and scientific knowledge treating and caring for every species of animal. Your broad skills both professional and personal allow veterinarians to... work more efficiently and effectively. And you do it all with love and a smile, day after day. And this year you’ve been put to the test like never before. Deemed essential personnel, you went to work every day, exposing yourself to the possibility of contracting a virus that has no cure. If that weren’t stressful enough, many of you faced furloughs and layoffs due to a sudden drop in hospital or clinic appointments. When you did go back to work, the caseload was nonstop as clients rushed to get their pets caught up on wellness appointments. But your love for animals and the work you do to help them drove you to keep going. Thanks to all the technicians working at the Miramar Vet Clinic. We truly appreciate you!

Our VTF staff are dedicated to doing our part to slow the spread of COVID-19. All staff members will be wearing masks and ask you to do the same! If you forgot your mask during your appointment, do not worry, we will take steps necessary to distance appropriately during your visit! Due to the pandemic, many families will be under quarantine when they PCS overseas. It is important to make sure your pet’s vaccinations and lab tests are current prior to your departure in order to meet boarding requirements, as well as country import requirements. Let us know how we may help take care of your fur babies, we are here to help you! VTF Staff

UPCOMING CLOSURE The Miramar Vet Clinic will be closed Friday, July 31 for inventory. Please call in prescription refills as soon as possible. All medications must be picked up by Thursday at 3pm.
