Reminder from the La Mesa Police Department to please keep dogs on a leash at all City parks. There is a designated off-leash dog area at Harry Griffen Park. Outside this designated area, off-leash dogs are subject to a citation for the owner.
Applications open TODAY for the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program. Eligible businesses can apply for grant amounts from $5,000 to $25,000, depending on the gross annual revenue documented in your most recent tax return. Applications are open until January 8, 2021, with approvals being announced on January 13, 2021. From now until January 9th, Christmas tree recycling is available to La Mesa residents through the following options: Place tree cut into small pieces in your EDCO green cart on pickup day, call EDCO to schedule a bulky item pickup, or drop off at the La Mesa EDCO Station at 8184 Commercial St. Reminder: natural trees only and please remove plastic bag, tinsel, stands, ornaments, and lights.

REMINDER to La Mesa Renters: The La Mesa Rental Assistance Program has been extended and Home Start will continue to accept applications on a rolling-basis, until funds are exhausted. Eligible applications will be reviewed and processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
