Shawn Morris and Greg Soldner successfully defend a developer and general contractor in a California Civil Code Section 896 construction defect case styled as Treo Maintenance Association v. Brookfield Woodbury LLC. The trial lasted 21 court days with the plaintiff homeowner association seeking in excess of $7,500,000.00 claiming multiple construction violations. The verdict was a huge victory for Shawn and Greg and the client and represents one of California’s first SB 800 trials.
