Congratulations to the soaring community's latest private pilot, Dan C! After training with all the club's fantastic instructors, especially Jose C, he passed h...is checkride on Nov 24th with DPE Mike Havener. Of course no glider pilot goes anywhere without a tow pilot, so many thanks to Woody for flying the tug. Pictured on the big day, left to right, are Mike, Jose, Dan, and Woody. Changes to FAA Knowledge Testing Webinars The FAA awarded a new airman knowledge testing contract called the Airman Certificate Testing Service (ACTS). To help educate and inform all people who take, or will take an FAA Knowledge Test on or after January 13, 2020, the FAA will host 4 Webinars in support of the new testing system.

Most flight instructors don’t get to see what happens with their students. This was great!!! My fellow NAFI instructors will appreciate this.
