And the video doesn't even show his feet! They are pumping just as vigorously to keep the plane on the glide path. That takes TOTAL immersion of the pilot, wearing that plane strapped to his behind more intimately than his jockeys. Great footage. Great memories.
I met Brian Shul, bought his book, and talked with him a bit at March Air Force Base a couple of years ago. If the line was shorter, I would have sat in his Sle...d's cockpit too. Always regretted not waiting to get a picture of me sitting in the cockpit of an SR71. Absolutely my favorite story...

I've been following Paul's wisdom for years. This is just another exposure to reality and good sense... about flying, of course. What else? I had one of those, too, but it turned out well and required minimal fixes and maintenance to get DXL back up and in the air.
