May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month AND Mental Health Awareness Month! What better way to acknowledge its importance than by addressing how these 2 topics intertwine, especially during a time of COVID-19! Stay safe! Stay well!

The effects of COVID-19 has spread far and wide... Communities that I am a part of and care deeply about are being impacted physically, emotionally, and financially. It has been difficult to experience and to witness. In an effort to engage in "social distancing," while also providing support and care to my clients, I have had to make the difficult decision to transition to telehealth for the time being. While it is not a modality in which I prefer, my concern for the safety ...of my clients, loved ones, and overall community made it the only viable choice. If we all try our best, we can minimize the toll on our medical professionals, have hospital resources be available to those in dire need, and keep one another safe. With a little bit of support and help from one another, I truly believe we have the ability to cope through all of this. If you're interested, click below for some suggestions.

The annual #APEX #YouthEducationSummit (YES) is back and will take place on Saturday, 9/15/18, from 9:30AM-2:30PM at East Los Angeles College (ELAC). There's also a #scholarship opportunity! So feel free to pass this information along to any students attending high school or college and make sure to sign up! "The APEX Youth Education Summit (YES) is a career day for at-risk youth (ages 14-21) to engage and explore their ideal career path. Through workshops, speaker panels and group discussions, students will have the unique opportunity to talk with and learn from working professionals across different industry fields."
